When Emily was little, her father kept rare animals at home, so she was never afraid of snakes. After his death, she was left with a huge anaconda named Luna, which the family had raised for almost ten years. The doctors later admitted that the woman was incredibly lucky to come in on that exact day because the situation was already becoming critical.
The surgery was performed that same night.
A few days later, Emily regained consciousness, and the first thing she asked about was Luna. Her husband told her that after Emily had been taken to the hospital, the snake calmly ate for the first time in a long while and started behaving normally again.
Later, one of the veterinarians explained the snake’s strange behavior far more realistically than all the scary stories online. He said that large snakes are extremely sensitive to changes in body temperature, heartbeat, and even the smell of blood. Most likely, Luna sensed that something abnormal was happening inside her owner’s body, which is why she constantly stayed near her stomach and refused to leave her side.
